Begin your time together by sharing a memorable dream you've had. What makes it memorable?

No 2 Watch and Listen

Starting with what seems like Cadan viciously "murdering" Larus, this episode portrays the horrors of humankind's first murder, and the effect it has on the angels, reaching deep into their dreams. Cadan and Larus,s former friendship is shown as they reminisce about the time they were almost blown into a "dimensional rift," and we see the symbolic pieces of the super nova they keep as symbols of their lasting friendship. Death is compared to this collapsing star, and the two struggle to make sense of it. Larus says at first they just thought it was a rumor "Administration" (God) used to scare the "Aboriginals" (humans). While he claims death drowns out the "song," he tells of his own nightmare, where he sees the Prince watching him. As a storm threatens Larus, he lets it destroy him, refusing to run. The General addresses the universe, declaring war on Administration, pronouncing his own dream: to create life, raise his fallen brethren, and take back the kingdom he says is rightfully theirs.

No 6 Pray

While death seems to be a ruling force in our lives and our world, we continue to find ourselves surrounded with beauty and grace and joy. In the Bible, Joseph’s brothers sell him as a slave, causing him years of pain and suffering. In the end, however, Joseph ends up as a top leader in the ancient world’s most powerful empire, saying to his brothers, “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.” While God doesn’t orchestrate evil, He is in the business of taking the worst situations and redeeming them for good. Take some time to pray for each other, that God might redeem the painful situations in your life, and make them count for good.
