By now, the aboriginals (humans) have become savages, sacrificing each other and their children. Larus takes no responsibility for this—he blames Administration for creating the aboriginals without equipping them properly to “handle their new liberties.” On the other hand, he proudly claims his side is “winning” the war, letting slip that the General is coming close to “discovering creation” for himself. Raina uncovers the General’s plan to equip the aboriginals and build “strength in numbers” to win the war. Soon, the discussion leads to the eight “informed” humans left on the side
of Administration, or as Larus calls them, the “7 loons and a madman in a box full of animal feces” in their “escape pod.” As all of nature shrieks under the weight of evil and the waters begin to rise, Larus fears for his life. Sadly, Raina explains that God does indeed love him and all of creation, but “love demands justice.”

1. In response to Larus regarding Noah, Raina says, “He is not mad, he’s informed.” How do you know the difference between being deceived and being informed? What are some ways you can become more “informed” about God? What’s standing in your way?
2. Can good come out of suffering?
3. What do you think—who is to blame for the pain and suffering on our planet?

No 6 Pray

You may not realize it, but the story of the flood involves you. God loves humanity too much to let Satan be victorious. He chose to keep the war going through the few people who remained faithful to Him, to give everyone the opportunity to choose love. Take some time to pray that God would keep the war going in your own—and each other’s—life so that He might lead you to victory in Jesus.
